When your period accidentally strikes, salvage your precious undies with these spot removing strategies:
If its a small fresh spot of blood
moisten a paper towel with your saliva (saliva contains chemicals that breaks down blood cells) and press it against stains. Then mashine wash as soon as possible.
For older set-in stains
after pouring on hydrogen peroxide, sprinkle on unseasoned meat tenderizer, which breaks down the protein in blood. Let panties set for 30 minutes before rinsing in cool water and machine wash.
For stains that have'nt dried
pour on hydrogen peroxide; it will destroy blood cells but won't alter the color of the fabric. A few minutes later machine wash.
